How it works
Each emoji comes with an official name from the Unicode emoji list and a set of keywords from the Unicode CLDR project. The search shows an emoji when every word you type appears in its name or keywords (capitals do not matter), or when you paste the emoji itself. Whole-word matches in the name come first, then whole-word matches in the keywords, then partial matches, and short names before long ones. This page shows the Symbols group: transport and warning signs, arrows, religion and zodiac signs, keycaps, shapes, colored circles and squares, and math signs. Click or tap an emoji to copy it. Emoji with skin tone variants are listed once, in the standard form.

What is in the symbols group?
Warning and transport signs, arrows, religious and zodiac symbols, keycaps and number symbols, geometric shapes, colored circles and squares, and math and currency signs.
What is the difference between ✔️ and ✅?
✔️ is a plain check mark. ✅ is a check mark in a green box. Both exist as separate emoji with their own names.
Are these the same as text symbols?
Many are also available as plain text characters, but the emoji version is drawn in color by the system. The copied character is the emoji one.
Is my search sent to a server?
Search runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
